Jordan Bolden Majewski is a Black queer poet and essayist from Virginia who now calls Northern California home. In her work, she explores the embodied experience of Black motherhood in its full spectrum– the many dangers, surprises, and joys.

Jordan’s poetry and creative nonfiction appear or are forthcoming in Prairie Schooner, The Rumpus, Shenandoah, Crab Orchard Review, Torch Magazine, and The Panafold. They hold a BA with Distinction from the University of Virginia and an MFA from New York University.

In their free time, Jordan can be found gardening, crafting, or making art with their three children. She is currently at work on a poetry manuscript and a collection of essays.
